Deleting XNAT data§

:warning: Once you delete data it be impossible to recover. We recommend you do not delete data unless necessary. Proceed with caution.


Delete a subject and all of its data§

:warning: This will delete a subject's metadata and all its imaging files.

  • Navigate to the subject page
  • From the Actions menu, select Delete
  • To permanently delete the subject data and all of its imaging scans and other data, click Confirm

Delete a session and all of its data§

:warning: This will delete a session's metadata and all its imaging files.

  • Navigate to the session page
  • From the Actions menu, select Delete
  • To permanently delete the scan data and all of its imaging scans and other data, click Confirm

Delete individual data files§

Individual scan and resource files can be deleted using the Manage Files feature.

  • Navigate to the session page
  • From the Actions menu, select Manage Files Delete files
  • Expand the view as necessary by clicking [+] next to folder names
  • Click the bin icon next to the file collection or individual file you wish to delete
  • To permanently delete this file or collection of files, click 'Yes' in the Confirm Remove dialog.
