Logging in to the UCL XNAT servers§

1. Request an account§

If you don't yet have an account on the server you want to access, you need to request access before you can log in. An account on one server does not given you access to the other servers.

2 Connect to a VPN if you can't access the server directly§

If you are accessing the internal or collaborators server from outside of UCL, you may need to use a VPN that gives you access to the UCL Network. You do not need a VPN to access the public server. VPNs are slower than a direct connection, so don't use one unless you need to.

There are several VPNs, including:

  • UCL VPN (requires a UCL account and uses your UCL SSO credentials)
  • UCL Computer Science VPN (requires a CS Windows account and uses your CS Windows credentials)
  • UCL DRC VPN (requires a DRC account)

We recommend using the Computer Science VPN if you have a CS account.

3. Connect to the XNAT server that hosts your project§
