Don't know your password§

UCL users§

Your XNAT account login uses your UCL Single Sign-on password. To change or reset your password go to UCL MyAccount.

Non-UCL users§

Non-UCL users will need to click Forgot password? the first time they connect to the server in order to set up their password.

If you forget your password, use Forgot password? to reset it.

  • Connect to the XNAT server containing your account
  • Click Forgot password?
  • In the right-hand box, enter the email address or username associated with your account
  • Click Request
  • Follow the instructions in the email will receive

Other log in issues§

Have you waited for your account to be approved?§

After you register, you need to wait for the MIRSG team to approve your user account request. You will not be able to log in until your account is approved.

Account is locked after a number of failed login attempts§

Your account will be restored in 1-2 hours. If you need urgent access, contact the MIRSG team who can unlock your account immediately.

Have you confirmed your email address?§

After you register, you will need to confirm your email address by clicking the link in the registration email.

Are you using the correct XNAT server?§

MIRSG run several XNAT servers. Your user account is only enabled for the servers hosting your projects

Are you using your correct UCL Single Sign-on account name and password?§

Do not include @ucl.ac.uk in your account name
