How to join an existing XNAT project

If you wish to access an existing project on an XNAT server, contact the project administrator and ask them to invite you to the project.

If you do not yet have an account on the server

• Ask the project administrator to invite you to the project using your UCL email address.
• When you receive the invitation email, follow the log in instructions to access the server.

If you already have an account on the same XNAT server

• Ask the project administrator to add your user to the project. Let them know your username (UCL Single Sign-On name) to help the locate the correct user.
• You may receive an email when you are given access to the project.
• When you receive the invitation email, follow the log in instructions to access the server.
• If you are already logged into the server you may need to log out and in again to access the new project.

If you are not a member of UCL

• Ask the project administrator to contact MIRSG to arrange an account for you using your institutional email address.
• Data sharing agreements may need to be in place with your institution before access can be granted.
• When you receive the invitation email, follow the log in instructions to access the server.
