Changing the project investigators§
The list of investigators shown on the project page is purely for displaying this information to users. Changing project accessibility (public, protected or private)§
In most cases, you should not change this setting.
For most projects, the project accessibility will be set to protected or private, both of which mean only your project users can access and download data.
If you wish to make data open-access (allow anyone to download the data without login) you should discuss with the MISRG team first, as UCL has alternative options for public data sharing which may be more appropriate.

- Log into the XNAT server
- Navigate to your project (Click the Browse drop-down, click
My Projects
and select your project) - In the details tab, click
Edit
to modify - Under
Step 2: Define Project Accessibility
, select the desired level of access: - Private: The project will be hidden from all users of the server except for project members.
- Protected (recommended): The project name and description are visible to all server users. Project data can only be accessed and downloaded by project members.
